ANTIFLEX®

ANTIFLEX® is ttv’s registered trademark for transparent materials – LUXACRYL, POLYCARBONATE, POLYESTER, FLOAT GLASS – providing glare reduction and contrast enhancement

Comprising the following finishes: NON-GLARE, i.e. MAT FINISH, or OPTICAL ANTIREFLECTION COATING (AR coating), or a combination of both to maximize glare reduction.
Types of antireflective finishes and materials are described by suffixes (-AC, -AR, -AR3, -2MC-AFP etc.) to ttv’s trademark ANTIFLEX®.

This is an overview over ANTIFLEX® materials available from stock:

Acrylic with cast-in non-glare surface:

Acrylic with non-glare coating:

  • ANTIFLEX®-AR3
    base material: LUXACRYL with special non-glare coating (developed for LC and TFT displays)
  • ANTIFLEX®-AR3/2h
    ANTIFLEX®-AR3, but with scratch resistant hard coating on both surfaces
  • ANTIFLEX®-AR
    base material: LUXACRYL with scratch and chemically resistant hard coating
  • ANTIFLEX®-AN
    base material: LUXACRYL with ANTI-NEWTON-coating

Acrylic with optical antireflection coating:

  • ANTIFLEX®-2MC-AFP
    LUXACRYL, but with antireflective multicoating (very low reflectance), hard coating on both surfaces, and ANTI-FINGER-PRINT on front surface (ideal for laser scanner applications)

Acrylglas with optical antieflection and non-glare coating:

  • ANTIFLEX®-AR3/2MC-AFP
    ANTIFLEX®-2MC-AFP but with additional AR3 non-glare coating to reduce glare to the absolute minimum

Polycarbonate with non-glare coating:

  • ANTIFLEX®-AR-PC
    base material: Polycarbonate with coating like ANTIFLEX®-AR
  • ANTIFLEX®-AR3-PC
    base material: Polycarbonate with special one-side non-glare coating on one surface

Glass, etched, with coatings:

  • ANTIFLEX®-G-GWxx
    base material: FLOATGLAS with one-side etched non-glare surface (gloss value GW from 60 to 100)
  • ANTIFLEX®-G-2MC
    base material: FLOATGLAS but with antireflective multicoating on both surfaces

Materials for EMI / RFI shielding with non-glare coating:

  • ANTIFLEX®-2MC/ITO
    ANTIFLEX®-2MC-AFP with additional conductive coating on both surfaces (<100 Ω/□ each surface)
  • ANTIFLEX®-AR3/ITO
    ANTIFLEX®-AR3/2MC-AFP with additional conductive coating on both surfaces (<100 Ω/□ each surface), the first high tech acrylic for effective shielding
  • ANTIFLEX®-AR3/2h-ITO
    ANTIFLEX®-AR3/2h but with conductive coating on the rear surface (<30 Ω/□)
  • ANTIFLEX®-AR3/Mesh
    base material: LUXACRYL with cast-in blackened stainless steel mesh (V2A, 100 opi)
  • ANTIFLEX®-AR-PC/ITO
    ANTIFLEX®-AR-PC with additional conductive coating on the rear surface
  • ANTIFLEX®-G-GW80 / L15
    base material: ANTIFLEX®-G-GW80 with additional conductive coating on the rear surface (15 Ω/□)

    base material: FLOATGLAS with antireflective multicoating on both surfaces plus conductive coating on one surface (15 Ω/□)
